Finding the Right Path to English Qualifications: FCE, CAE, and more

As we approach the Easter holidays and look toward the final trimester, many
students and parents begin asking: “When is the right time to take an English
exam?”
While having a proficient speaking ability is the core focus of our classes, earning a
recognized English qualification is a vital step for university applications and future
career prospects.
Cambridge Exam Preparation
As an official Cambridge Preparation Centre, we primarily focus on two major
milestones:
- Cambridge First (B2 First / FCE)
This exam validates your skills at an Upper Intermediate (B2) level.
- Entry Requirement: Students must have a minimum B1 level to start the
course. - Duration: Typically takes two years to complete, though this can vary from
one to three years based on individual progress.
2. Cambridge Advanced (C1 Advanced / CAE)
Once a student passes the First exam, they can progress to the CAE.
- Grade Matters: Students with an A or B grade in FCE are usually ready for
immediate CAE study. - Consolidation: Students with a C grade often need extra time to strengthen
their B2 foundations before moving up.
3. Alternative Exams: IELTS & Oxford Test of English
Sometimes, specific goals like immigration or studying abroad require different
certifications:- IELTS: A globally recognized test often used for university entrance.
- Oxford Test of English: An increasingly popular and flexible alternative.
Foundation Levels (A2 & B1)
We also support students at the A2 (Key) and B1 (Preliminary) levels. These are
available via 1-to-1 tuition or in small groups (3–6 students).

Vocabulary. Lent

Sabies que la paraula Lent té més d’un significat?
En anglès, Lent significa Quaresma. És el període de 40 dies abans de Pasqua🌿
Però “lent” també és el passat del verb to lend, que vol dir prestar.
👉 She lent me her umbrella because it was raining / Em va deixar el seu paraigua perquè estava plovent.
En sabies els diferents significats?

Subsidised vs bonified training courses: differences and how to use your Fundae training credit

In the field of training for companies, there is often confusion between subsidised training courses and bonified training courses. Although both concepts are related to training support schemes, they are not the same and do not work in the same way.
How to Subsidise Language Training for Companies with FUNDAE (Practical Guide)

Language training for companies is one of the most cost-effective investments in workforce development. However, many businesses still do not take full advantage of subsidies available through FUNDAE. In this practical guide, we explain step by step how to subsidise language training for your team without hassle.
🧠 Why subsidise language training?
Companies that contribute to vocational training receive an annual training credit that can be used to subsidise language courses, allowing you to:
- Significantly reduce training costs.
- Recover part or even all of the investment.
- Simplify administrative management when working with a specialised provider.
📋 Requirements to access the subsidy
Who can apply:
- Companies with employees under general employment contracts.
- Organisations up to date with Social Security and tax obligations.
- Salaried individuals seeking training (even as part of a company programme).
Required documentation:
- Company and participant information.
- Course schedule, curriculum, and hours.
🔧 How the subsidy works, step by step
- Assess your team’s language needs.
- Conduct a comprehensive level test.
- Launch the course (online or in-person).
- Track progress and produce reports.
- Manage the FUNDAE subsidy without complexity.
- Apply the subsidy to Social Security contributions.
