Every year a number of students ask us for recommendations for resources to practice over the summer and also at home during the rest of the year, here are some websites you may find interesting:

On English e-Reader (english-e-reader.net) you can choose books at your level and many have audio so you can read and listen at the same time.  Going to the gym?  Commuting to work? Why not get some practice in at the same time?

https://www.eltbase.com/lesson-plans has many engaging quizzes, reading comprehension, listening and grammar articles to brush up on various parts of learning English.

Studying for an exam? Flo-Joe: THE place on the web for Cambridge English exam preparation: PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS has all you need to get those numbers up!

Our younger learners can keep things fresh with some online games at Online ESL Games (gamestolearnenglish.com) while at Home | LearnEnglish Kids (britishcouncil.org) you can look at different parts of speech and vocabulary with songs, poems and videos. Also you can visit these sites for more fun Games (nationalgeographic.com) Games | PBS KIDS Kindergarten Learning Games, Ages 5 – 6 • ABCya! and here Macmillan Children’s Readers (macmillanenglish.com) you will find storybooks at different levels with audio and worksheets to keep even the most inquisitive minds busy!

Teens can also get help with all aspects of English over at British Council LearnEnglish Teens | Free resources for teens to help improve your English There are also zones for magazines, videos, youtubers, reading and more! Teens have many varied interests and it’s worth doing a quick web search to find related content in English.
